How to apply: ++

Applicants collect required documentations as listed below and send to this office by either in person or by mail.

Documents Required:

1.    Original passport *

2.    Photo: Digital picture (Click here for a place-holder picture and we will offier free photo service)

3.    Drivers license

4.     Non-US citizen: Permanent resident card or US visa 

5.    Online Application form  (Click Here BUT READ description below first) 

              (Choose Washington DC, take notes of your user name and passwor)

            Note: Education needs only hightest degree, working experience needs 5 years; DO NOT SUBMIT application form. We provide service to finish the application)

7.    Visa support document**: (currently not needed)

        If planning to check in hotel in China:  

        --- Provide:   a: Flight itinerary. b: Hotel booking.

        If planning to Stay in China with friend who is NOT Chinese nationality:

        --- Provide:   Friend's  A. Invitation letter  B. Passport copy  C. Residential permit (a sticker in passport)

        If planning to Stay in China with friend who IS Chinese nationality:

        --- Provide:   Friend's   A. Chinese ID copy (front and back)  B. Invitation letter. 

8.    Visa cost (including consular fee and service fee) and Payment method ***:

          We accept person/business check, cashier's check, money order and credit card(with 3% surcharge). Check payable to China Visa Office

          Normal process application: 2-4 weeks

          US passport: $325,

          Canadian passport: $280

          Non-US passport: $280 (6-month 2 entries)  ****

          two weeks (around) expedited service: $150 extra.

          10-12 Business days 6 business days urgent service: $270 extra.

            FedEx Shipping back: $45         

* Passport should have at least 6 month validation. 10-year visa not available for passport with less one year validation.

** Child under 18 must provide copy birth certificate, parents' passports copies (or drivers license)

*** Return mailing fee $45 not included. If visa not issued, consular fee is refundable and service fee is not refundable

**** Conuslar fee may be higher for some desitinated country such as Korea, Dr Congo, Brazil, Cameron, Israel, etc.

++ Terms and Conditions:

By starting visa processing or mailing-in visa application, Applicant authorizes China Visa Office (CVO) to apply China visa for applicant and agree terms & conditions listed on website and other related documents. 

CVO is not responsible for any delay, package damage/lost caused by any inclement weather or carrier. Applicant agrees that all visas related decisions are made by Chinese embassy/consulate and CVO will not responsible of any delay/rejection/ request for additional documents. CVO acts as pass through agency and is not response for any inaccuracy in any application. If additional information needed by Chinese government, process time may be reset.

Due to complexity of rules from Chinese embassy/consulate, CVO is not responsible for any failed or delayed visa application.

By starting or mailing-in application, CVO total service fee is NOT refundable. Chinese government fee may be refundable if visa is not approved or other situation of visa not return to applicant. Minimum charge for application is $100 when CVO start working on application and applicant stops the process for very special reason.

Extra charge of $100 is applied if applicant requests visa service outside of normal business hours.
